Nettie's Trip South

A picture book based on an event recorded in the author's great-grandmother's diary. In 1859, 10-year-old Nettie traveled from Albany, New York to Richmond, Virginia with her sister Julia and her brother Lockwood so that Lockwood can do research for a newspaper article he is writing about slavery.
